DINTEK's DuraMAX360 RJ45 Field Terminated Plug
As more and more industrial devices and appliances are controlled using a connection to the IT Network, a more noise-tolerant and robust-structured modular plug is required compared to a common office LAN application plug. The plugs and cables must have a strong shielded structure to handle electrical noise and they must also be designed to work in harsh environments such as extreme temperatures, humidity, or vibration.
The DINTEK DuraMAX360TM Industrial Grade 4 Way Cat.6A RJ45 Field Plug has been designed for easy installation and field termination while being contained in a rugged package. The plug features a fully shielded die-cast housing and is a highly durable Cat.6A compliant component. Effortless termination has been achieved using the ezi-CONNECTTM Toolless IDC system, which allows a reliable and easy termination process without the need to strip the wires. The multi-configurable plug offers a 90° termination position with final position options of top, bottom, or side entry, and the easy-to-use color-coded conductor pre-load wire manager provides an efficient termination without the need for tools.
The DINTEK DuraMAX360TM Industrial Grade 4 Way Field Terminated Plug comes in a Category 6 and Category 6A version and is suitable for up 10G Base-T networks. The 4 Way Field Terminated Plug can be used for solid or stranded 22-26 AWG cable with a diameter over the conductor insulation up to 1.6mm (0.63in) and accepts an overall cable OD of 6mm (0.236in) to 8mm (0.315in).
